Position Summary

The Digital Design organization is responsible for the design and maintenance of Digital Units in Radio Base Stations. We work at the front edge in hardware design, optimizing our products on performance, quality and cost and by that maintaining our technology leadership within our area. The highly complex digital HW design is based on ASICs and FPGAs, network processors, complex PCBs with high-speed serdes links etc.

The experienced Signal Integrity engineer will work in a signal integrity team of seven engineers. Our expectations is that you will:

Perform simulations and analyze results for signal integrity, high-speed serdes links, power integrity or timing analysis.

Use our tools: QCD and QSI from SiSoft for serdes and timing, and Ansys Power Integrity

- Be familiar with Cadence schematics and layout
- Cooperate with PBA designers and PCB designers to set constraints and layout requirements
- Explain signal integrity issues to others in the organization
- Be involved in the specification to the PCB suppliers to ensure the quality of the high speed links
- Write and/or review documentation in English

Qualifications:

- Master of Science in Computer Science and Technology, Electronic Engineering or equivalent education.
- Signal integrity simulation experience. Experience of design and verification of complex processor boards, including high speed digital design and measurements.
- Good communication skills and social ability
- Fluent in English in conversation and writing. It is a plus if you can communicate in Swedish
- You are a team-player with a positive attitude and a strong drive. You should appreciate to contribute to a creative and innovative environment.
