IP transport technology is a key area for Ericsson; Common Transport Feature (CTF) within DU Radio is responsible for requirement area (RA) Transport which provides common IP transport features for all Ericsson Radio network solutions ( LTE, WCDMA and MGW ). The CTF is a global organization with operation in Sweden, Korea, Croatia, and Russia.

Currently, our main focus is on next generation RBS (DUS Gen 2).

The next generation RBS (DUS Gen 2) development enables Ericsson to provide real multi-standard RBS covering LTE, WCDMA and GSM.

To achieve these goals we must strengthen our organization with excellent SW developers. We not only offer the most challenging software development opportunity; we also offer work in the most important software in the Radio Transport Networks.

Since we deliver the same SW to all radio standards, we focus a lot on software architecture and continuous delivery and integration.

We are organized in cross functional team where we are part of the whole feature flow, from continuous analysis to having a product working in field.

Job description

As a SW developer, you will participate in system studies and implement system functions according to requirements, including coding, feature testing, and design documentation.

As a SW developer you will get the chance to work with developing IP security, IP routing, IP forwarding, Quality of Service, LSI AXM(multicore), Linux etc.

Qualifications ? Internal:

Education

Master of Science in Computer Science or equivalent formal education with experience in software programming

Qualifications

You have:

- Experience in C and C++ programming.
- Experience in feature testing
- Experience in IP and telecommunication.

Required competence in our teams:

You contribute with competence in one or several of the following areas:

- SW system design
- Test automation, (JCAT, google test, gmoc)
- Version Control Tool (GIT)
- Code Analysis Tools (Gcov, Valgrind, Lint, Coverity)
- Embedded SW and threading
- Working with Agile/Lean methods,
