2 Project Managers - Large Projects

Job description We are looking for 2 experienced and qualified candidates for the position as Project Manager - large projects, driving our product development projects at Surface Drilling Equipment in Örebro.As a Project Manager you will work cross functionally within the company and your mission is to drive the product development projects from idea to a complete product.The projects you will lead can be both local projects in Örebro and global projects with project members from Altlas Copco sites around the world.You must have an ability to work in a structured and driving way, have a good sense of orderliness and both the willingness and capability to consistently deliver the right quality with good delivery precision.As Project Manager, you are the project's main person and it is your performance that determines whether the project will be successful or not.Mission Statement In this role as Project Manager you will have the main responsibility for the total projects including all phases.You will be involved in defining project scope and content.You will also be responsible for that a well operating project team, with sub project leaders from relevant departments, will be formed and also that a project time plan and project budget will be established and fulfilled.During the project, you will lead the work and also support the sub project leaders to do a good job in their sub projects.The development projects are runned according to a well-established project model which will give you as project manager a good support to manage the project in all phases.You will continuously monitor the project status, time plan and budget and report to a Steering Group, Local Product Board and the Global Product Board.You are also responsible for recommending the gate passages and to manage and minimize project risks.Experience To succeed in this role you must have a solid experience in project management of large projects with lead time up to 2 years and with similar complexity as our products, preferably in an international environment.Very good knowledge of English is required since English is our corporate language and is used, both in speech and in writing.Education Requirements Documented academical background in engineering with the appropriate orientation or other highly qualified engineering background.You should have several years of proven experience in project management.Personality As the main Project Manager you have to get your entire project team to consistently deliver the ever best they can, you need to have a high social competence, to be clear and firm with good communications skills and a strong own driving force.You should be able to work under pressure and have the desire to take full responsibility.
