The Nasdaq Internship Program provides successful candidates with a unique opportunity to experience a challenging and immersive 10-week internship. As participants of our Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will get a chance to work on a project along with a mentor, network with senior colleagues, and present your project towards the end of the program. You will also participate in learning and development sessions with diverse topics to help you grow and succeed as you establish your career.

Market Technology is the leading provider of post trade solutions globally. Clearing houses and central security depositaries are undergoing profound change, driven by technology evolution and regulation, and Nasdaq provides the solutions, expertise and technology they need to continue to operate and serve local, regional and global markets. The Product Management department to which we look forward to welcoming you straddles the line between strategic thinking and tactical execution. We work together with Engineering, Product Design, Analytics and Business Development to discover and deliver solutions that are innovative and transform our clients business.


Your Role
Complementing our continuous strategy and product vision work, we are currently making a larger concerned effort to set the path for Post Trade 2030. In this intern role, under the mentorship and with the support of our senior product leaders, you will shoulder a specific work stream, and bring together and update the latest external and internal thinking, analyze and draw conclusions, and suggest options and paths ahead. You will:
Plan and prioritize the effort and output, and manage the project
Engage with Nasdaq stakeholders to bring in their input and experience
Perform research using a wide range of Nasdaq-internal, external, and public information
Analyze, draw conclusions and iterate these to nail down findings
Continuously document in a rigorous but easy-to-access format, centered on enabling business decisions with confidence


The Ideal Candidate


Is working on completing a Masters degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science or Information Technology (graduating by 2022)
Has solid foundation in business and economics
Has high interest in technology and as well as global financial markets infrastructure
Has proven business analytical skills and ability to structure, drive and deliver on a complex business question
Has strong communication skills, written and verbal
Has high self-drive and passion to make an impact


Project Overview


The Post Trade 2020 is a critical effort and steppingstone both for us and our clients. Depending when you will join us, you will shoulder market-wide work stream(s), or one or more specific work streams where we deep-dive in specific segments or the impact of specific megatrends on our clients. Regardless, your work will be of critical importance to us as we stake our path ahead.
