21863 - Software Developer (C++)

HSS(Home Subscriber Server) is looking for a SW Developer (C++) with experience in SW design and SW architecture.

Your main tasks are to participate and drive the SW architecture both inside the team and on HSS product level. You will lead and perform system studies, breaking down requirements into SW design.

We work in a lean and agile environment, where you can and are expected to influence and make a difference in HSS product design. Your tasks will be performed within a X-functional development team. Our X-functional teams consist of members that are flexible to perform different tasks such as design, function test, system test and system management in order for HSS to develop features in the most efficient way.

The HSS department is part of PDU User Data Management in => DU Core Networks, BU Networks. The Design Center at Ericsson AB in Stockholm is responsible for developing features in the HSS product. The HSS product is developed in close co-operation with Design Centers in Madrid and Shanghai. We are currently located south of Stockholm at Telefonplan and will move to Kista mid 2013.

The User Data Management (UDM) is a real time telecommunication system that facilitates subscription handling within any access technologies. UDM implements the 3GPP HSS, providing capability of managing subscriptions in Circuit Switch, Packet Switch, IMS, LTE and WLAN networks domains. The HSS is a master user database that supports the IMS network entities that actually handle calls. It contains the subscription-related information, performs authentication and authorization of the user, and can provide information about the subscriber's location and IP information, similar to GSM HLR & AuC.

Qualifications

Required Competencies:
- MsC in Computer science or Electrical engineering
- More than two years of experience of object oriented development C++ in Linux development environment
- Good to have Competencies:
- Experience in defining SW architecture
- Experience in System studies
- IP protocols, e.g. SIP, SNMP, H.248 and associated transaction oriented development
- HSS & IMS & User data management
- Ericsson specific areas: TSP/Dicos TTCN-3, CBA
- Experience in working Agile Scrum, Kanban etc
