Ericsson Radio Design is responsible for research, development and maintenance of radio unit in Ericsson Radio Base station products. One of our major challenges is to develop and deliver high volumes Radio hardware in short timeframes.

Radio Design at Ericsson Kista is headquarter of Ericsson?s global radio design organization. We are driving global product development of Radio products within the mobile networks supplied by Ericsson in the global world of mobility.

We are looking for newly graduated or experienced Radio Verification Engineers.

Radio and RBS Verification department as part of Radio Design focuses on the fast verification of radio products to fulfill customer's expectation on performance, quality, etc, with industry leading measurement technology.

As a Radio Verification engineer you are responsible for ensuring radio product quality with high radio performance, securing test method and test environment to fulfill all the assigned test activities within approved cost, time and quality frame.

Further you will:

Set up the test environment and DUT to make test start
Execute test cases & complete test report
Trouble shooting for test environment (HW&SW)
Analyze test results & faults

What we would like to see in a successful candidate:

Master/Bachelor degree or equivalent in EE, Telecom, or related majors
Knowledge of tele-communication systems
Knowledge about Radio and LTE, WCDMA, GSM, CDMA standard
Good communication skills and social ability
Fluent in English speaking and writing
Excellent teamwork and cooperation spirit, both professional and personal integrity
Proactive and positive learning attitude

Experience in the following area is a merit:

HW Design or Verification Experience
Experience in Linux or Unix
Good knowledge on radio measurement instruments, like spectrum analyzer, signal generator, power meter.
Experience of script languages such as Perl, Python or similar
GSM/WCDMA/LTE Uu interface protocol and performance verification
Electro-Magnetic Field & Microwave Technology
