27480 - Software Developer CSCF, IMS

Product Development Unit Converged Core (PDU CC) operates within Development Unit Core and Networks (DUCN) within Business Unit Networks (BNET). The PDU is responsible for Converged Core Network Solutions and products including IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS).

The PDU consist of approximately 1000 employees and is a global organization. Main governance is located in Sweden with operations in Sweden, Hungary, China and Canada.

We are looking for Software Developers in one of the Core products of IMS, the Call Session Control Function - CSCF.

The work includes tasks such as:

Performing pre-study work, including requirements/feature analysis and breakdown.
Designing software for new features.
Implementing automated test cases and executing tests.
Working with test specifications and customer documentation.
Collaborate within and outside the team.
Question and challenge the way it has been done before.

We expect you to have:

Academic degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent.
Solid programming skills in object oriented and scripting languages such as C++, Python, Shell script etc.
Experience in software development, including both design and test.
Good written and spoken English abilities.
Team player spirit.

Good to have:

Experience with cross functional team work, preferably in Agile/Scrum teams.
Experience of virtualization (hypervisor, cloud concepts).
Experience of multimedia, 3GPP IMS, VoIP or protocols like SIP, TCP/IP, Diameter, IPv6/v4, H.323, H248.
Experience of development in Linux environment.
TTCN-3 competence.
