If you have a strong background in Oracle Applications (financials and logistics) and are interested in having ownership for technology-related issues, acting as a key point of contact for ongoing initiatives then this is the opportunity for you! Within our team we develop software on about 10 systems from which ERP (Oracle E-business Suite) and CRM (Peoplesoft) are the two biggest areas tightly integrated.[ We are constantly making enhancements to those to ensure we are at the top of the market.[ We use the following oracle E-business Suite modules:[financial modules (GL, AP, AR, PA, FA), PO, Logistics modules (OM, INV) and HR.[ We need a Technical Lead in this area to ensure the whole area is well designed and developed. As technical lead of ERP you will be responsible for all technical changes in Oracle E-business suite and are expected to handle the following: * Responsible for the development standards within Oracle E-business Suite and setting guidelines for solutions within Oracle E-buniness suite. * Together with our architects driving the technical roadmap of Oracle E-business suite * Proposing improvements/tools surrounding Oracle E-business suite * Acting as a mentor for all other developers within ERP (normally about 5 persons, but depending on projects being run) * Support business analyst (solution designer) with applications- and technical expertise on ERP * Writing technical designs * Reviewing technical designs * Developing software matching requirements (including writing necessary documentation) * Support operations by developing necessary fixes/solutions * Work closely with the ERP application lead who takes resp. on coordinating resources * Involved in configurations/patching and upgrades [Required skills & experience * Experienced Oracle Applications developer OR experienced Apps DBA * Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred. * PL/SQL * Experience in writing Technical Design documents. * Experience with SOA and Workflow desired. * Demonstrated self-direction skills. * A track record of success in help solving significant technology-related problems * Must understand systems analysis techniques and have demonstrated experience in applying them in practice.
