We are now looking for an experienced programmer that are passionate about and wants to know more about Big Data. Scalability is something that you find very interesting ? both horizontal (distributed) and vertical (parallel).

As a member of the Machine Learning group at Ericsson Research in Stockholm you will be working in a team that focus on all aspects of data; storing and retrieving it, statistics and data mining, systems that automatically learn from data, and visualization of insights.. You will complement our team by bringing in a deep theoretical and practical understanding on programming and how to scale algorithms.

If you are a curious person that likes to build things end to end you are the one we are looking for. If you know a thing or two about Hadoop, Spark, Shark and Scala you are absolutely the person that the team needs.

Skill Set

You should

- have an MsC or PhD
- have excellent programming skills
- have worked with distributed and or parallel computing
- be fluent in English

We would like

- that you have experience with statistical computing tool such as R or Matlab
- that you have a strong mathematical/statistical background
- that you know Scala
- that you have worked with NoSQL technology such as Hadoop, MongDB, Redis
- that you are knowledgeable in JavaScript and d3
