Main purpose:

The Commercial Manager Support Solutions acts as the key interface to Regional Commercial and Price Management functions for commercial matters related to Support Solutions offerings, to secure correct decision material and optimized commercial solutions.

The Commercial Manager Support Solutions governs the use and adherence to relevant tools, processes and mandates for Support Solutions offerings, and is the prime interface for commercial escalations.

The Commercial Manager Support Solutions actively supports regions to continuously enhance the commercial capabilities to handle the Support Solutions portfolio in the region.

Authority:

Commercial Management Support Solutions has the sales decision authority outside regional mandates as specified in the BUSS Sales Approval Instruction.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

Provide commercial support to regions and sales teams for Support Solutions offerings.
Review and manage deviations from the standard commercial model (price steering, profitability, risk, cash flow and terms & condition)
Optimize the commercial decisions by securing future upsides and profitability, especially safe guarding SW sales, SW Maintenance and other high margin sales
Prime regional interface for commercial escalations and accountable to manage, communicate and log commercial decisions
Competence build up, commercial coaching and training for the region on the Support Solutions offerings
Secure good decision material when sales decision escalations are needed above authority level
Support value creation through business cases and negotiation frameworks, also involving customer interaction if requested
Give feedback to Solution Areas regarding price levels, price models etc and make sure we are in line with commercial strategies
Take active part in GPL-updating work by supporting price tracking analysis and give input to BUSS Price management
Support collection and analyze commercial intelligence insights from the region and feed back to Solution Area and CI functions
Support the development and implementation of Support Solutions commercial strategies

Competence Requirement:

Education:

B.E. or higher in Electronic and/or Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent degree. Solid techno-commercial experience with excellent track record

Essentials for the Role:

Excellent understanding of Ericssons Support Solutions portfolio, price models and value argumentation
Excellent analytical skills - prices, cost, margins, cash-flow
Business oriented and strong Commercial understanding
Competence to understand and calculate customer business cases and alternative business models
Basic commercial knowledge of Terms & Conditions
Excellent communication skills
Result oriented and strong team player
Understanding of Ericsson's and operators' financial models
Experience from Price Management and/or Account Management
Knowledge about the Ericsson product and services portfolio
