DU Radio strives to be the most competitive Radio Network R&D unit in the industry. We develop and maintain competitive, high-quality Radio products which give our customer solutions securing future growth. We currently develop GSM, WCDMA as well as LTE Network solutions to operators all over the world.

The PDU HW within DU Radio (BNET) is responsible for all HW development of Radio base stations for GSM, LTE and WCDMA. The unit is also responsible for development of core and common components HW used in the core Node?s like : Evo Controller, SGSN and SSR.

The unit is working towards all Development Units within BNET and operations are executed in Sweden, Canada and China.

Job description

We are now looking for a Project Manager to the Project office to head one of our important, interesting and challenging HW project "RBS GSS". Main goal is further development of our successful RBS6000 product. This includes HW and some SW design, industrialisation and customer introduction (FFI). The RBS HW projects typically span for 1-2 years and includes development within different organizations and sites.

As the PDU HW is in transition into Lean project setup you will be a part of this further transformation.

As a project manager you will have the following tasks and responsibilities:

- Creating and maintaining the delivery/release plan
- Budget & cost plan/follow-up
- Setting and communicating goals
- Visualize progress/ communicate status
- Enabling efficient inter-team collaboration
- Facilitate quality
- Risk management
- Adhering and embracing to the Lean&Agile principles

Qualifications/ Competence:

- Experience of working as project leader in larger complex projects is required.
- Technical education on university level required.
- Strong leadership skills in line with Ericsson core values and in the Lean principles.
- Experience of working as a line manager is desired but not a must.
- Business and costumer focused with a high accountability to deliver results - Walk the extra mile !
- You are a true project leader that lead the project to the goal !
- Good presenter ? ability to sum up details to a high level summary for the PDU head.
- Find it stimulating to work in a team, have a genuine interest in people.
-You should have the ability to work across organizational boundaries.
- Enjoy work with change management and teamwork/cooperation across the organization.
- Interest of the concepts of Lean ways of working.
- Good English language skills in both writing and conversation.
