6888 - GCH BSS Solution Architect

The Global Competence Hub supports all Ericsson Regions by delivering strategic competence to maximize customer value in selected engagements. An important role will be to support new product and services introductions. It will also serve as a platform to leverage acquisitions globally.

Solution Architects in the GCH are placed in the centre of activities, entailing a high level of interaction with customers as well as internal teams. A critical pre-requisite of these highly visible and senior roles is the willingness to travel and work internationally in line with business requirements.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITY (included but not limited to):

- Act in the Solution Architect Role in both Pre-Sales & Delivery phases of a customer engagement
- Leading solution analysis, solution design (and where required)
- leading technical teams
- Plan the configuration and Integration of the proposed solution to meet the customer requirements.
- Establishment and realization of migration plans.
- Analyze and evaluate test results.
- Engage at Operator C-Level during Opportunity and Pre, Pre-Sales - Phase, to align offerings and proposals with their network evolution strategy of our customers.
- Support the CPM with customer questions and provide an excellent view on the governance and scope of the system integration project.
- Support the KAM, CORE 3, and Engagement practices to prepare RFI, RFP, and RFQ documentation
- Bridging the gap between sales activities and the delivery project in order to secure smooth flow in the SDP sales process from SDP0 to SDP4
- Lead and contribute with presentations and discussions in customer workshops, providing solution and technical expertise
- Share and transfer knowledge, presenting to others on audit findings, solutions and new releases
- Display leadership with respect to Ericsson resources, third party suppliers and contractors.
- Taking the technical lead to secure the professional delivery of solutions (globally)
- Participating in Global Competence Hub missions and focus areas including taking a technical lead role and contributing to business direction.
- Participating in the Strategic Business Unit programs as required
- Provide and drive solutions, covering several domains and layers in the customer network
- Sell competitive products/services solutions through a consultative approach, focusing on customer needs
- Act as a role model and mentor for less experienced members of the team
- Match our customers requirements to Ericsson?s Services & Product offerings

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

- IP/datacom network elements and protocols (advanced level)
- Databases Oracle and Sybase (intermediate level)
- Good overall system knowledge of the Business Support System infrastructure
- Expertise in Revenue Management, mainly CBiO (BSCS or CS).

SENIORITY / ASSESSMENT REQUIREMENT:

- Recent BUGS Certification on a SA Experienced level or higher.
