Sony Ericsson is thanks to the success on the market going through a phase of expansion. Quality Production Processes Is the Quality function within Industrialization line organization. Promotes continuous improvement, Quality Policy Core Values and manage the Management System within Industrialization line organization. Supports, with a global perspective, the Industrialization Projects in ensuring the quality and the capacity of the production process as well as the quality of the, by the process, delivered product Ensures, with a global perspective, that environmental, regulatory and ethical aspects and requirements are included in the industrialization projects according to Sony Ericsson requirements and strategies. The role include the following obligations: Works actively and continuously with improvements of product and process quality related to the production. Executes the Quality Improvement Process (QIP), leads the weekly quality meetings with the different factories involved. Collects data needed for the evaluation of the quality performance related to the different production units and the different industrialization projects. Trouble shooting and quality improvements, ensures that root cause analysis are performed and corrective actions implemented by the responsible organisation/factory. Establishes the quality plan for the industrialization project and monitors that the plan is followed and that activities identified in the plan are carried through as intended. Collects analyses and compiles information needed for the different Quality Gates and presents the quality status for the Industrialization project at the Quality Gates. Establishes the Production Process Verification plan defining the verification of the production process. Monitors the progress of and the compliance with the verification activities defined by the plan. Ensure that instructions for Sony Ericsson controlled quality inspections within the production process are written, implemented, followed and maintained. Act as the interface towards the factories/partners regarding all quality issues related to the production process including possible escalation to Sony Ericsson. Participates in, or leads, quality audits in accordance with the "Site audit and assessment process". The person we are looking for should: Have strong interest in working with quality management of outsourced manufacturing. Demonstrate good understanding of how R&D demands translate into the production environment and vice versa. Be able to handle and structure complex information as well complex organizations. Be willing to take ownership of tasks and required investigations and to drive these activities with high pace into execution and final implementation.
