Account Manager Consumer Sales Symantec is a global leader in providing security, storage and systems management solutions to help our customers - from consumers and small businesses to the largest global organizations - secure and manage their information-driven world against more risks at more points, more completely and efficiently.Our software and services protect completely, in ways that can be easily managed and with controls that can be enforced automatically - enabling confidence wherever information is used or stored.[ Symantec's Consumer Business Unit, the team that brings you the trusted "Norton" security, storage and systems management products, is looking for talented individuals to work on the next generation of industry leading products, technologies and services.[ Join Symantec's Consumer Business Unit, the world's security market share leader for consumer software and services and be a part of protecting hundreds of millions of customers worldwide.Main responsibilities: - Day to day management of assigned retail partner accounts and distributors - Provide first line support for business contacts and sales people from assigned partners - Execute high quality, planned and motivating sales and product training to sales people in partner offices - Implement consumer sales promotions and marketing campaigns - Monitor competitor end user and channel activities and feed back the findings to the Consumer team - Create post mortems/results of activity [[ Requirements: - Experience in planning and implementing sales promotions, incentives and marketing campaigns - Building and managing long-term relationships with resellers - Negotiation skills with track record - Obvious flexibility and ability to make decisions and be self managed - Strong written & verbal communication skills - Good Finnish and English speaking and writing - 2 to 3 years minimum consumer sales and/or marketing - Related experience in Distribution, Direct Market Reseller or Retail Experience within following areas would be of additional value, but not a requirement - Drivers license - Good skills in Microsoft Office [ Fixed term contract of at least 1 year, from end of March 2009 Position based in Southern Finland.
