Their growth strategy has recently accelerated by the acquisitions of leading ERP provider SSA Global, of Extensity, a financial performance management software company, and Systems Union Group, a UK-based provider of financial and performance management solutions. The company's headquarters are located in Atlanta and Chicago, USA.


Financial Shared Service Center (FSSC)
To support their fast growing organization and to improve efficiency, the company has decided to expand their existing EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) Financial Shared Service Centers in the Netherlands (Barneveld) and in the UK. The FSSC's will focus on accounting services, billing, accounts payable and credit control.


Key Responsibilities

The accountants within the FSSC will be responsible for the general ledger accounting of one or several legal entities within the EMEA region. You will be part of an international and dynamic team of 25 accountants.

Responsibilities:
GL Accounting
Balance sheet reconciliations
Accrual Accounting
VAT declarations
Inter-company Reconciliations
Reporting
Month-end, Quarter-end and Year-end closing of the ledgers





Requirements

Relevant and recognized professional accounting education.
Minimum of 2 years accounting experience
Extensive knowledge of Excel
Affinity with the IT sector
Proactive and independent
Flexible and enthusiastic
Language skills: English and preferably of either German, French or Italian.
