Accountant - Order to Cash

SKF is establishing a Finance Operations Center organization supporting all SKF units globally. We have an exciting future ahead of us towards a clear Finance strategy road map. Finance will have a powerful role related to a lean, efficient and digital environment, and we are aiming to be in the frontline of next generation Business Finance.


The Finance Function at SKF in Gothenburg Sweden includes Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay, Record to Report and Central Controlling processes. Our Sub Finance Operations Center will support several countries in North Europe.




Order to Cash Accountant




Your day-to-day work
Accountable for Accounts Receivable
Accountable for processing incoming payments and contribute to collection process
Accountable for reporting bad debt and manages reserves
Accountable for handling Sundry invoices and daily follow up, support to business
Ensure the quality of master data for internal customers
Carrying out ad hoc and monthly analysis of AR processes
Perform AR closing and reporting activities
Have a close collaboration with Sales organizations in North EMEA
Follow up and monitor of outsourced AR activities
Drive and coordinate improvements and use SKF Business excellence as the tool to reach our future goals



We expect you to have/be...
An experienced accountant with a degree in Business Administration/Accounting or similar working experience.
Prior experience from working in different finance systems and as well MS Office
Fluent in writing and speaking in English. Other language is a benefit especially some of our Nordic countries' language

Additional information for you
Location: Gothenburg, Sweden. Local contract in SKF Sverige AB.


By developing next generation of business finance, we are now establishing three finance shared service centers in Europe; Madrid (Spain), Gothenburg (Sweden) and Poznan (Poland). The centers will consist of approximately 80 employees in each site with expertise functions in Accounting and reporting, Accounts payable, Accounts receivable and also some Controlling functions.
