Accounting Manager / Finance Manager Betsson is looking for an Accounting Manager / Finance Manager based in Malta.Betsson's business idea is to offer a wide variety of top notch online gaming products in a secure and user friendly environment.Today the Company offers Poker, Casino, Scratch Cards, Exchange Betting and Sportsbook.Betsson is quoted on the Swedish stock exchange.To our newly opened offices in Malta, we are now looking to recruit an Accounting Manager / Finance Manager.You will be in charge of: .Management accounts .Statutory accounts .Reconciliation of bank accounts .Betting duties .Tax issues and returns .VAT issues and returns .Payroll .Day to day management of accounting and general ledger functions .Liaison with external parties - internal and external audit, tax advisors, banks, etc .Act as an advisor in financial issues within the company .Ensure successful audits and reporting on an semi and annual basis .Introduce and follow up of accounting rules and regulations .Report directly to CFO Qualifications and required skills: The successful candidate has demonstrated a motivated and driven approach to their career to date.Industry experience is beneficial, whilst solid accounting experience and a passion about furthering your career are essential. You have a university or college degree and 3+ years extensive experience in accounting.Experience in consolidation and IFRS are required.You must have a professional and flexible approach, be proactive and hands-on, a good organizer and know how to keep deadlines.It is essential that you have the ability to plan and prioritize workload and to work under pressure.This is a confidential role requiring extreme attention to details.
