About the job:
Apptus is now looking for a driven and experience Accounting Manager. In this new role, you will be a part of a small team which consist of four other people. The team works with great responsibility and help each other! You will be located at our headquarter in Lund. You will work close to the CFO and this is also the person that you will report to.


The Accounting Manager is responsible for all areas in accounting and financial reporting. This includes tracking, monitoring, and evaluating accounting tasks and activities derived from the company’s daily financial transactions, keeping the general ledger updated and making sure that accounting is compliant with current national and international accounting standards, rules, and regulations. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting routines, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely external financial statements. The main goal includes compiling and delivering timely and reliable financial data for external financial reporting purposes.


Key Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities in this role will be…
Leading the annual audit process and together with the CFO act as the auditors’ main point of contact
Ensure financial compliance in the integration of new and redeveloped products, processes, and entities by setting documentation and establish a framework for key controls
Ensure correct VAT & income tax reporting, according to country specific regulations
Ensure that the monthly closing documentation is complete and performed in the way set out by the CFO

We are looking for:
Education: A degree from a university in Business Administration or equivalent.
Languages: Swedish and English business level
Very good knowledge in Excel
You have worked widely with finance and have minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting and/or Financial Reporting related to both Swedish and European accounting standards
Knowledge of group consolidation including subsidiaries in other countries and arrangements with foreign branches
Knowledge, experience, and ability to identify differences between local GAP and IFRS
