Arbetsbeskrivning
The Embassy of Canada in Stockholm is looking for an Accounting/Administrative Assistant to join its team for a 12 to18 month contract starting in May 2006. The position is full time, i.e. 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Input transactions into the accounting database;
- Assist with auditing of invoices and with obtaining the required financial authorities;
- Carry out weekly filing of Administrative/Accounting documents;
- Perform administrative duties, such as copying various documents, and other duties as required.
Qualifications:
The candidate should have at least 3 years of experience of entering transactions into an accounting database. Lack of formal accounting degree can be compensated by several years experience. The candidate should be fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken).
Knowledge of French would be an asset.
Other desired qualities:
The candidate should be able to work individually and with accuracy. He/she should understand the importance of ensuring accurate filing and should be pro-active when it comes to the maintenance of document cabinets. Flexibility to work additional hours when required.
