Project Manager / Technical Architect Profile Position: Project Manager / Technical Architect Reports to: Program Manager Project: Njord Start Date: ASAP End Date: Estimate Q2 2011 Location: Adecco Headquarter Stockholm Mission: To define and implement an application management and support structure to support the business after rollout of the application Key Objectives: Identify application management and support options Prepare cost / benefit analysis of options Present options and recommendation to Decision and Steering Committees Implement chosen solution ensure appropriate management of existing support resources Ensure application management and support structure implementation alignment with programme milestones and global IT strategy Single point of contact for all knowledge on the technical configuration of Adapt for Adecco (Technical Architect) Key Accountabilities: Work in collaboration with Program and Project Managers to define and baseline the tasks required to: Propose and gain approval for ongoing support and maintenance structure.Manage support and maintenance of the application during the project.Gain in depth understanding of the application configuration Manage Application Support resources through System and UA testing where required.Up-skill existing application management team to support new application.Manage process to hand support for the application over to Helpdesk including training of Helpdesk staff and handover of complete set of technical documentation.Identify and manage resources required to achieve the mission Identify and actively work to mitigate issues and risks Track progress of tasks and report to Program Management including forecasting variance to baseline.Deliver project within the agreed budget Maintain colleague network to ensure ongoing support alignment with Adecco IT strategy (Nordic and global) Key Attributes Detailed and logical / structured thought processes Ability to define and execute strategy A proactive self starter with initiative and tenacity Previous experience in a Project Management or similar role Ability to work independently and part of a team.Good communication skills and an excellent understanding and appreciation of project standards Experience in application management processes including design, build, test, implement and support.
