Position: Admission Consultant

This company specializes in delivering 100% online academic education on a global basis - tailored for the needs of working professionals worldwide.

Students come from more than 150 different countries throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East, North America and Africa. All are busy professionals with extensive work experience. The company's European office is located in Amsterdam. To keep up with the demands of an ever-changing technological environment, the company is expanding. Due to this expansion, they are in need of high-level achievers who are seeking an educational sales position

Main Tasks:

Using a consultative sales approach, Admissions Consultants generate student enrollments by calling on prospective students and advising them with respect to how we can meet their educational and career needs. Successful candidates will build relationships with prospective students that have inquired about the program, discover needs and concerns, demonstrate how our program can best meet those needs, and support the prospective student through the admissions process to enrollment.

Admission Consultants build and manage pipeline of prospective students for accurate forecasting purposes, collaborating with various departments within the company. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with prospects requires systematic and proactive account management primarily in the form of telephone and email communication.

Responsibilities:

Conduct outbound (and inbound) warm sales calls, to prospective students who have requested information after responding to targeted marketing campaigns.
Assist student with admissions, financial aid and enrollment process.
Manage prospect database.
Maintain relationships with students to help support program persistence and generate referral activity.
Provide feedback to marketing and other departments regarding enrollment.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (preferred).
Customer service, sales or marketing experience entailing one on one interaction is highly preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must possess excellent English language skills both oral and written.
Self-motivation to meet and exceed goals and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong customer service orientation.
Proficiency in MS Office and Internet.
