Volvo Cars IT (VC IT) is seeking a manager to lead its Application Development Service (ADS) Enterprise Shared Service function. This function is responsible for development or sourcing, maintenance and support of IT tools, methods, processes and environments that enable the ADS Practices to do their work.

Application Develoment : Methods & Tools , Development tools, ESCM

Profile
Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

10+ years of IT experience, including IT management roles
Fluency in written and spoken English
Possess a very good understanding of Volvo Car Corporation's products, business strategy and company philosophy
Stress-tolerance and a positive outlook
Good experience of working together with senior business executives
Capability to be efficient and well-organised in their work, applying structured processes and procedures
Good logical and analytical skills
Respect for and a strong appreciation of multiple
cultures/nationalities/viewpoints
Ability to create, maintain and benefit from contact networks
A technical or IT University degree is required.


The succesful candidate will be a member of the ADS management team with shared responsibility for the development of the function. The complex nature of the work going on in VCC IT requires this person to have a broad and flexible approach to IT and good interpersonal skills.
