Volvo Construction Equipment, a business area within the Volvo Group, is one of the world's leading manufacturers of construction equipment such as wheel loaders, excavators, articulated haulers, road development equipment and compact equipment. Volvo Construction Equipment AB Component Division has the responsibility for development and manufacturing of driveline components to Volvo's construction equipment. Development of electronic systems is also a part of the responsibility. Component Division has app. 1 200 employees. The business is located to Eskilstuna, but manufacturing is also performed in co-operation with other companies in different places. Volvo Construction Equipment AB, Component Division is now looking for: Advanced Engineering Program managers (Process and Project portfolio) Do you want to work with innovation and seize the opportunities within future power train technology? Within Advanced Engineering we manage development of power train technology, Engineering methods and Production-technology for future construction equipment. In order to achieve above for customers all over the world, we are now seeking two persons to strengthen our team. Final scoop of each position will be defined based on candidates. Responsibility and tasks: Depending on candidate, specific responsibilities may include: Manage customer opportunities and requirements Manage innovation Manage resource planning and allocation Drive and manage certain AE activities Follow up and manage KPI:s (Key Performance Indicators) Lead process development Manage customer communication for Advanced Engineering Manage cooperation with research institutes and handle external funding Manage technology roadmaps and technology plans Qualifications: We are seeking highly motivated individuals for these positions who meet the following criteria: Analytical mindset with good organizational ability and coordinating skills Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills 2+ years of work experience from development of power train components (engines, transmissions and axels) and/or automotive electronics (control systems, HW and SW) is an advantage and if recently graduated you have a track record of outstanding academic performance in a relevant Engineering field Experience from systems engineering and requirements management is a great advantage Process development, IPR management (Intellectual Property Rights, i.e. Patents), technology sourcing and product development partnerships are also interesting areas from which experience is considered an advantage Please attach your CV, cover letter, and your University grades to your application.
