Advanced fault tracer

As an advanced fault tracer you have the responsibility of fault tracing on a complete electrical system level both in rigs and in prototype vehicles. You will support during prototype build and verification activities to identify the root cause for issues in the electrical system. That means that you will work with a wide range of functionality cross all CEVT.
Since fault tracing often take located during prototype builds, in manufacturing plants and during verification expeditions you will need to travel frequently and manage flexible working hours. Also supporting and educate resources in China in similar described tasks.

Responsibilities and tasks
• Plan, prepare and execute fault tracing in box cars and prototype vehicles.
• Participate in prototype builds.
• Document and communicate root cause and/or relevant information on problems identified to responsible design area.
• Support workshops with electrical know how.

Profile and Background
• Bachelor degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or long practical work experience within the area.
• Knowledge of electrical architecture, electrical network and communication, signal configuration, diagnosis and software-download for CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and Flexray.
• Knowledge of following computer based SW tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, and also other measuring tools like oscilloscope, multimeter etc. used in fault tracing.
• Good in English (spoken and written)
• Driving license for cars
• High level of engagement to solve any issues and help others
• Positive attitude, resolute and high drive for results
• Flexible regarding travels.
• Each individual in our team has a high level of responsibility and mandate, and is expected to be able to work autonomously.
• Cultural awareness, especially China – European culture
