We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of a Aftermarket Diagnostics Technical Expert with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:
The main tasks for the candidate are as follows:
Ensure that base technology and aftermarket requirements for on-board and off-board diagnostics implementation are met.
Define service requests or change requests relating to the design or implementation of diagnostics capabilities and data as needed to achieve adequate diagnostic capabilities for aftermarket.
Perform end-to-end user validation in the aftermarket application
Assist in the design of on-board diagnostics capabilities and/or aftermarket solutions
Analyze diagnostics data and implementation for problems, and define and propose improvements as needed
Contribute know-how and best practises to teams developing guided diagnostics and other aftermarket diagnostics information.
Coordination with Volvo Cars function owners to ensure strategy, concepts, use cases, and requirements are all in sync.
Develop and maintain in-depth technical knowledge of the organization's Cars aftermarket diagnostic applications and systems.




Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:
Competency prerequisites for the applicant:
Automotive diagnostics technology and methodology, with a focus on the aftermarket
Concepts, systems, and applications for Volvo Cars diagnostics
Testing and validation of diagnostics
System design and/or diagnostics implementation, for example, Autosar
Product and functional development
Electronics, particularly embedded

solutions for network telecommunications, telematics, and connectivity
