We are looking for a new key member to our Engineering team in Gothenburg, who will bring a technical background and interest in developing our technical documentation for an optimized customer experience. In the position of Agile Technical Writer, you will act as an integrated part of the engineering team, responsible for documentation and manuals for Collision, mainly within measuring. You will be an important link between the product manager and the developers, helping both to deliver what is required. Furthermore, you will work closely with our stakeholders and get involved in our products, to ensure you understand the customer needs and support a document-first agile workflow. Your immediate team is based in Gothenburg but as we are part of a global Engineering team, you will interact with colleagues across the world.
Your main tasks will include:
Drive a document-first agile workflow
Provide support for video instructions
Create and maintain documentation and manuals for Collision
Participate in product development projects
Evaluate and test functionalities

About You
To be successful in this role, we believe you bring the following skills and experience:
Educational background with technical orientation and/or within information design/communication
Minimum 3 years’ previous experience within technical writing, training materials or similar role
Understanding of usability principles
Skilled in creating illustrations
Experience from working with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
Fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English, additional languages are of advantage

Communication and presentation skills are key in this role, where you must be able to make technical functionalities understandable for the end user with text, images and video material. Furthermore, we think that you have a technical interest and are attracted by a broad role which you will be able to impact and develop.
