Air Conditioning Technician

Working in the Facility Management section of the Embassy, the Air Conditioning Technician carries out maintenance and repair work to all mission buildings and facilities including residential owned and leased properties.

This position will coordinate with local and foreign contractors for specialty maintenance and small to mid-sized projects. Additionally, this position will back up and support other trades within the section, such as plumbing, carpentry, and electrical. After hours and weekend work will be required periodically.

EDUCATION:

Completion of secondary school is required and completion of vocational training from an accredited institute recognized as producing journeyman level technicians with specialization in the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Condition) field is required.

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the repair and maintenance of commercial or industrial HVAC systems is required.

LANGUAGE:

Good working knowledge Reading/Writing/Speaking English is required.
