You will take on the role as implementation support for Autosar Base Tech.
In this role you will play an active and guiding role in securing compliance with the Autosar standard and nearby technologies. The work gives you a vast network of contacts across the R&D organization.

You will be a part of the section's implementation support network, striving for a seamless integration of different base technologies within every control unit in the electrical system. In the years to come we will continue to see a major development of the Autosar requirements. Your contributions in those areas will be vital.

Our group Analysis and Verification currently consists of 12 people and we test base technologies in HW/SW primarily realised in the ECU's in the cars, such as Diagnostics, Communication, SW Download (SWDL), Network Management, Car configuration, Data Security and Autosar/SW Platform.

We are a part of the section Diagnostics and ECU Platform. Our section is responsible for all base technologies in the electrical platform, which forms the fundament for all electronic control units in the entire electrical system. The section is a part of Electrics/Electronics & Chassis within Volvo Car's Research and Development (R&D) division.

Main responsibilities

Perform System test based on Design and Verification methods
Report test results in decided format in Volvo Cars Systems
Support designers and suppliers regarding how to interpret test results
Provide deviation support to the development programs.
Assist in developing test methods
Participate in test activities in advanced engineering projects

Required qualifications

Master degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
Knowledge of distributed electrical systems and electrical architecture in a vehicle
Experience from Autosar, SW, HW and system development
Knowledge of embedded programming
Good general computer knowledge
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
General knowledge of and experience from Volvo Car Group's R&D development
Chinese (written and spoken)
General knowledge of base technologies within HW/SW Platform is meritorious

You are supportive, customer focused, driven, proactive, and analytical
