Volvo Construction Equipment, a business area within the Volvo Group, is one of the world's leading manufacturers of construction equipment such as wheel loaders, excavators, articulated haulers, road development equipment and compact equipment. Volvo Construction Equipment AB Component Division has the responsibility for development and manufacturing of driveline components to Volvo's construction equipment. Development of electronic systems is also a part of the responsibility. Component Division has app. 1 200 employees. The business is located to Eskilstuna, but manufacturing is also performed in co-operation with other companies in different places. The department Structural Analysis and Testing within Component Division, Product Development, we are looking for a: Analysis Engineer - Dynamic Simulations Structural Analysis and Testing Structural Analysis and Testing is a resource within Volvo Construction Equipment Component Division. The department is responsible for stress analysis, dynamic simulations and strength testing. The analysis disciplines are mainly a resource for the development projects within Component Division. Strenght testing is a resource for Volvo Constructions Equipment. Example of competences within 14510: Durability, Simulation of Drivline Dynamics, Noise and Vibration, Fluid Analysis and Strength Testing. Job Description: Dynamic simulation of drivline properties (e. g. performance, control and 3D dynamics) Support ongoing development project with virtual prototypes Method development Cross-functional work within and outside the company Candidate Profile: Professional Experience: Experiences of dynamic simulation of mechanical systems Experiences of either software: MatLab / Simulink, ADAMS or AMESIM Personal Qualifications: Very good analysis skills Target oriented with a capability of working independent Good communication and documentation skills Education: Master degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering
