Main Responsibilities of the Department
The ART (Agile Release Train), is a part of Vehicle Platform. The Steering teams are responsible for the vehicle steering functions and we develop steering functions for conventional and AD controlled vehicles. We have both in-house and supplier developed SW solutions. We research future systems for our portfolio such as Steer by Wire and Rear Wheel Steering. We work with platform solutions where we strive to lead and shape the development on future shared platforms between Volvo, Polestar, Geely and Lotus.


Our offer
As Analysis Engineer you will function as a tester within Steering SW and control. Your main responsibilities will be to perform development testing and tuning of Steering Control Module Software. Testing will be performed in different environments, such as bench testing and HIL testing as well as integration tests in cars.
You will be part of a team that share the work and develop their skills together to become stronger as individuals and as a team. The team is cross-functional and you will be working in an Agile WoW contributing to the priorities on team's backlog. You support the reason for going Agile and want to improve our way of working. You are interested in widening your competence as well as deepen your skills to best contribute to the team's deliveries.
You enjoy working in an Agile environment, where good communication and the will to support each other is the base for the team development.


Are you our new colleague?
To fit in this role we think that you are a person with a M.Sc. within electrical systems, system controls, mechatronics, automation or equivalent. You have experience from system/function testing, analysis and verification methods and tools. As a person you enjoy team work, communicate and collaborate well with colleagues as well as suppliers. Furthermore, a great plus is if you and have experience of troubleshooting, automated testing and experience from SW development projects within automobile and have knowledge of:




- CAN and car diagnostics
- CANoe experience, analyse complex graphs/logs in CANoe,
- experience vTESTstudio
- Develop automated tests,
- T2 licence at Hällered for tests in car
- Customize tests/sytem for CI.
- Knowledge of Volvo System and HIL testing rigs,
- Experience from VECTOR test equipment products.
