Om kunden:

Elypta has discovered that a specific class of glycans in human body fluids may have clinical utility in early cancer detection. Elypta will be the first company to ever market an assay to measure the specific glycan profile in human specimen with applications ranging from research use to clinical diagnostics.

Since the start of Elypta in 2017 the company has been growing and are in need to strengthen their R&D-team. They are looking for a dedicated candidate who wants to contribute to developing novel methods and improving modern health care.

Arbetsuppgifter:

In the position as an Analytical Chemist you will actively participate in the development and validation of an IVD (in vitro diagnostic assay), in conformance with ISO13485:2016 and design control process requirements for product development (FDA 21 CFR Part 820). You will take part in designing, conducting and evaluating the results of laboratory experiments. You will participate in writing technical documents for regulatory submissions. The work also includes the implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) routines (e.g. as required for ISO- certification). Furthermore, you perform routine analysis based on this assay, perform basic maintenance of instruments and equipment, and ensure that all reagents and supplies meet quality control standards. Depending on your background duties may be adapted to match your skills and experience.

Profil:

• M.Sc. in / Analytical Chemistry / Biochemistry/ Chemistry or equivalent subject. PhD extra meriting
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in analytical chemistry or biochemistry and experience in Mass Spectrometry
• Meritorious with professional experience within IVD/medical device industry, the pharmaceutical industry or within clinical chemistry laboratory
• Experience in writing plans, reports and supporting technical documentation to a high standard
• Fluent in English, meritorious with knowledge in Swedish

As a person you have an analytical ability and a logical approach, you prefer to rely on data and tackle problems from a scientific and analytical perspective. You are good at planning and driving your work forward and you are expected to take great ownership and responsibility. You are thorough in your work and can create and maintain structure while being detailed. Furthermore, you enjoy doing things properly and you also work efficiently. Finally, you have an open attitude towards others and see value in working together with other people.
