Antenna Design Engineer

ob Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Antenna Design Engineer to join us as a consultant on assignment with one of our leading clients. The assignment involves end-to-end development of cutting-edge antennas for radar sensor systems, with a strong focus on innovation, efficiency, and millimeter-wave performance.


Key Responsibilities
Design, simulate, and validate advanced antenna systems — including 77 GHz dual-polarized arrays and low-profile wideband antennas.
Carry out full development cycles: EM simulation, fabrication, measurement, and optimization.
Work with tools like HFSS, CST, ADS, MATLAB, and Python to design and analyze antenna performance.
Conduct hands-on measurements using VNA, spectrum analyzers, anechoic/reverb chambers, and other test equipment.
Collaborate with client teams including radar system engineers and RF designers.
Analyze data, produce technical documentation, and support IP filings or academic dissemination as needed.

Requirements
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, RF/Microwave Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in antenna design and testing.
Proven knowledge in:
Automotive radar systems (especially 77 GHz)
Compact dual-polarized and reconfigurable antennas
Low-loss/high-efficiency structures
Hands-on lab experience with advanced RF measurement tools and environments.
Fluent in English; strong communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have
Experience with GapWaveguide antenna designs
Exposure to microcontroller-based reconfigurable antennas
Background in radar system-level design or integration
