For more information please visit www.komet.se.Application Developer Our customer is a manufacturer of compact, tunable lasers, used in the latest generation fiber-optic networks.They are located in Kista and the development team, consisting of 10 Ph.D's and 5 Masters, together represent more than 150 years of tunable laser experience. As the software systems that support our customer s production workflow grow the responsible software development team must grow with them.By adding an application developer, to increase the creative power of the team, they will be able to provide even better services and higher quality in the software solutions that are developed and maintained in-house.Responsibilities You will be an important part of the manufacturing development team at the company.Their primary focus is on creating an efficient and reliable production environment.You will actively work with the team in designing production support systems and be responsible for implementing and maintaining some of the company's internal applications.You will be responsible for a large set of activities related to software development, such as design, implementation, testing, documentation and deployment etc.The applications you develop will be related to different fields such as workflow management; test and measurement execution; data management, visualization and analysis.Qualifications Masters Degree in Computer Science or other relevant field; 0-2 years working experience; Experience in Windows development using C++, C# and .Net is a requirement; Experience in user application design and development is a requirement; Experience in industrial and/or measurement applications development is a plus; Experience in macro development in Microsoft Office is a plus; Personality You have a wide interest in software development and methods to create high quality products.You enjoy working in a small team where your contributions have high impact.You know that real world conditions changes, but can stay focused on high level goals while adjusting.You are fluent in English, both orally and in writing.
