Application Software Architect Consulting Services in Olofström is currently seeking an Application Software Architect or an Experienced Application Developer. Our department works with development, implementation, maintenance and support of IT solutions within professional services and through service offerings. Our customers are within the Volvo Group, Volvo Cars and in the external market. Job description: You will be a part of our consulting group and together with other consultants, help our clients with their development, methods and processes, strengthen our competence and form our future applications. As an Application Software Architect you will participate in the discovery and documentation of the customer's business scenarios that are driving the solution. Your primary task is to ensure integrity of the architecture, in terms of connecting various views to each other and satisfactorily reconciling the conflicting concerns of different stakeholders. You will belong to the Consulting Services group in Olofström and may also work in assignments at customer sites. Travelling will be required. Education / Qualifications: Required: At least two years professional experience as Software Architect or equivalent competence Excellent technical documentation skills Experience of working according to RUP, Agile, XP Good communication skills Experience from a customer-facing role and/or consulting Ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both in writing and verbally Beneficial: Experience of modelling using UML Experience developing systems in .NET Systems integration experience Experience from manufacturing industry Experience from multiple platforms and languages Background in designing or developing high-availability, business critical systems is a definitive plus Ability to lead software developers in a mentoring role Date of employment: To be agreed upon.
