Your new job:
At FLIR Systems' global technical support department, they love to solve various and challenging technical puzzles while their customers put on the handset with a smile. This is a job where your unique (and sometimes unconventional) skills are highly appreciated.
During your first year at FLIR, this happens, among other things:
• You become a generalist in one of FLIR Systems' various industrial product areas.
• Specialize in one or more product lines closest to your heart.
• Make FLIR Systems customers satisfied by showing commitment, technical expertise and service.


Main tasks:
• Provide software and product support to customers as well as internal teams.
• Take appropriate action to close all open support cases within a reasonable time.
• Provide technical support for customers, suppliers and internal staff.
• Instruct and assist technical support representatives on how to troubleshoot programs and / or products.
• Maintain the information available on the customer support portal and ensure that documentation, software and knowledge base articles are up to date.
As you can see, it is an exciting service where both service, technology and people are involved.


Your background:
We are looking for you with some kind of technical education, preferably a college engineer or equivalent. Appropriate education focus is system science, electronics etc. Preferably any technical experience from summer jobs or degree work where you have been involved in support and / or education oriented work assignments. The service requires a high level of both oral and written knowledge in English primarily.


Your profile:
As a person you are open, social, quick-thinking, like to do several things at once, are more of a finisher than a beginner and want to grow with the task. Furthermore, you like words like service, satisfied customers and your own responsibility. This service has technical focus but can also be learned on the spot, FLIR systems know that today you do not know everything about their products and are willing to educate you, you can contribute with the right attitude and willingness to learn, this will be an excellent match.
