OM TJÄNSTEN
As a Junior Buyer, you will have several contact areas to collaborate with. You will work with order placement, ordering and order management. You will work in an open office landscape together with your team. GANT is located at Frihamnen

This is a consultant assignment. You will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at GANT. The assignment will be full time for 6 months. There are good opportunities to be extended on the assignment, given that all parties are satisfied with the cooperation.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As a Junior Buyer, you will be a part of GANTs Global Sourcing and Buying Team; you will be responsible for the apparel buying which includes negotiation, and communication towards both GANT suppliers and their markets. You will work closely with GANTs concept to consumer department, as well as the Product Creation and Supply Chain functions, i.e. function as a bridge between art and science. You report to the Global Sourcing Manager. As previous work experience in purchasing is not a requirement, you will get a solid introduction from your more senior colleagues in the team.

For example, you will work with Order management towards suppliers and partners including:
* Negotiation with suppliers securing bulk order deliveries
* Communication and negotiation of Purchase Orders together with markets

You will also be working with:


* Planning and negotiating each seasons buying schedule
* Data governance responsibility
* Follow up on supplier order fulfilment


The position suits you who are newly graduated and sees this as a good start in purchasing at an attractive company. You are a person who is passionate about your work and who is innovative when it comes to working methods and finding new and creative solutions. GANT advocates development within the company and the development opportunities are great both in purchasing and in other departments.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
* Have a University degree within Supply Chain, Business Administration or other relevant field. Alternatively, you will complete your degree by January 2018.


* Have great skills in Excel and enjoy working with numbers.
* Have excellent Swedish and English communication skills - written and verbal. Since you will be part of an international team.


It will be considered an additional qualification if you have:


* Worked with Purchase or Order Management during your studies.
* Experience of order placement in ERP systems
* Worked within the apparel industry


As a person, you are communicative, highly efficient, and structured. In addition to your efficient working methods, you are a communicator who is easily can connect and develop good relationships within the company. You are a good at problem solving, have a good prioritization, and are used to work independently. Furthermore, you have the ability to work in a rapidly changing work environment and capability to manage several tasks and projects simultaneously.

* Start: As soon as possible. Preferably during December or early January.
* Work extent: 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
* Salary: In accordance with experience requirements.
