Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

At Scania R&D, we work with the future´s sustainable transport system and the connected vehicle. Our responsibility is to ensure that data from the vehicles can be used by the various connected services, to generate as much customer value as possible. You get a key role in shaping tomorrow´s connected transport system.

 


The position

In this position you will be a part of our Connectivity team. We work with modern software engineering, from end to end within everything from embedded software in the truck to the backend in the cloud. We have an exciting journey ahead, developing lots of different functions for our growing connected vehicles fleet, today 500 000 worldwide.

We give you an environment that apply agile working methods and the teams are responsible for their services all the way from requirement handling, development, quality assurance to production. We automate as much as possible and strive for high quality when we develop new functionality.

 

To succeed in this position we think that you:

· Have senior experience within Embedded systems and C++

· Have experience of working with Linux

· High quality mindset
