Job Description
We are looking for an Area Lead Engineer SAP Engineering who will lead the SAP Engineering team, SAP product landscape for H&M to ensure SAP solutions are leveraging optimized tools and system capabilities, architecture, including Cloud and Applications. The Area lead responsibility also cover delivery lead capabilities as well the common SAP master data deliveries.
In this role You will have close collaboration with the other four areas within the Unit SAP Platform and the total H&M Group SAP Community across product teams and operations.
You will form the next generation SAP landscape by focusing on the business needs and optimization of the overall performance of the platform. You will maintain, harmonize and maximize the SAP enterprise architecture according to H&M Tech Strategy. While an obvious near-term objective will be to participate on the S/4HANA transformation strategy, you will also participate in translating the strategy and target state architecture into initiatives.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Lead the SAP architecture solution function, developing the roadmap of services across the SAP landscape
Contribute to the road to S4/HANA and the system architecture for cloud, scale-out platforms and data center services working in collaboration with Product organisation and Enterprise Architecture function
Lead the transformation of SAP through the re-engineering of business processes
Provide guidance and consultation to initiatives and operations on appropriate use of the platform and development solutions
Drive continuous improvement activities across the SAP platform
Work closely with other departments to meet performance and scalability expectations for SAP environment
Assess up-and-coming SAP technology, and create ideas and strategies for adoption aligned with H&M BT and Business strategies
Collaborate with product teams to gather specific requirements and translate requirements into design
Responsible for overall SAP master data management strategy closely with the Business including retention, backup and data integrity
Manage associated vendor and service provider contracts and external consultant performance
Formal staff responsibility, including salary review, performance dialogues and support in individual development plans and competence needs



Qualifications
Extensive experience in SAP application architecture area
Senior management experience in leading technical leaders and teams and collaborating with external service providers
Sound functional understanding of the SAP technical enterprise framework
Experience driving initiatives with new SAP platforms technologies including HANA, Fiori, Mobile solutions for SAP
Good understanding of SAP BTP and SAP roadmap around composable apps
Good understanding of delivery models for SAP Solutions including SAP master data
Demonstration of strong technical leadership skills and the capability to manage internal stakeholders
Ability to communicate actionable analytical findings verbally, visually and in writing in an inspirational way to a non-technical business audience
Strong people skills with the ability to create trustful relationships
Dare to lead and be able to communicate in a clear and simple way
Contribute to an open and collaborative environment cross organisation and competencies
