As an Area Sales Director at Neonode based in Japan, you'll be part of the APAC team and report to the VP Sales APAC.

Job Description


• Ownership of the direct sales and marketing activities towards direct customers in Japan.
• Execution of sales and marketing strategies to maximize revenue growth and profitability and to expand the direct customer base locally in Japan.
• Responsibility to grow the direct share of Neonode’s business in alignment and cooperation with the indirect Channel Sales Director.
• Together with HQ Marketing efficiently deliver relevant training, content and campaigns locally.
• Accountability to monitor and meet all relevant performance metrics of the direct sales business in Japan.

 Requirements


• A Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent combination of formal education and directly related experience.
• A minimum of 5-10 years sales and sales management experience, ideally in an international role and in an electronic components manufacturer.
• Experience from Elevator, Inter-active kiosks or automotive industrial segments is an extra benefit.
• Demonstrated ability to exceed budgeted revenue targets whilst providing a first-class service that meets and exceeds the expectations of colleagues, customers and partners.
• Proven background in developing relationships with key decision makers and influencers including experience in closing complex solution deals.
• Hands-on, practical technical skills and ability to demonstrate our technology and products.
• Analytical/technical skills and business acumen combined with a strong degree of creative flair and passion.
• Willingness and ability to travel globally as required (not applicable now).
• Ability to effectively interact with Neonode’s leadership team and staff.
• Fluent in Japanese and English.
• Well versed in MS Office plus CRM systems such as Hubspot, Salesforce, Microsoft CRM or similar.
