ABB's High Voltage Products team provides products which help enhance the safety, reliability and efficiency of power networks while minimizing environmental impact. Our technology leadership continues to facilitate developments in areas such as ultra-high-voltage power transmission, enabling smart grids and enhancing eco-efficiency.
In the role of Area Sales Manager you will implement Business Unit global sales and marketing strategies in the assigned geographic area, ensuring that the global Business Unit increases sales, margins, market share and customer satisfaction in the region. You will collaborate with local sales units and global marketing and sales organizations within the business unit and in other business units.
Your responsibilities
Reviewing and analyzing the RFQ documents and identifying the scope of supply, preparing list of technical datasheets, deviations and clarifications.
Analyzing customer needs, determining the optimum technical and cost-effective solutions
Contacting suppliers (e.g. reactor, transformers etc.) to get the suitable proposal
Preparation of costing and commercial offers
Power Quality / Harmonic Analysis at customer site mainly in Europe
Design of Capacitor banks including Passive Harmonic Filters and call for regular Design Review Meetings
Visiting customers and presenting them with the offered technical solutions

Your background
You have 3 or more years of work experience while having technical background from university.
Experience in power quality or filter design
It would be meritorious if you have experience in HVDC/FACTS system design
Experience in sales / project management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
You are open-minded and eager to learn new things
You are ready to work in an international and multicultural work environment
You are structured, persistent and well-organized in your way of working and committed to customer satisfaction.
