Our client, Telair International - part of the Teleflex Corp (NYSE), is the world's leading supplier of On Board Cargo Loading Systems for passenger and freighter aircraft.Telair has operation centers in Germany, Sweden, California and Singapore.Our customers are airlines worldwide, as well as aircraft manufacturers.For the office in Lund, we are now seeking an Area Sales Manager. The challenge Your main task will be to market and sell cargo loading systems for aircraft, primarily in Europe.You will report to the Director of Marketing & Sales, and be fully responsible for sales to your customer accounts, which include technical and commercial negotiations and closing of contracts.You will be expected to build long term contacts with customers at all levels in their organisation.You will be based in Lund, but spend a large part of your time with customers, primarily abroad.Your background You have a few years track record as a successful international sales professional, preferably from positions involving complex "systems" sales but not necessarily in the aerospace segment.You have a technical education and are fluent in English.You are a self-starter who is devoted to sales and a strong negotiator with excellent social skills.To succeed in this position you will need a strong and independent personality, a good business perception and plenty of persistency.Your social situation allows extensive travelling.
