Our client, one of the world?s main wind turbine manufacturers with over 6.300 employees, is looking for an Area Sales Manager Scandinavia.This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a rapidly expanding worldwide leading company where your professional career could develop as quick as the sector.AREA SALES MANAGER SCANDINAVIA Job description As Area Sales Manager you will have an absolute key role when it comes to accelerating the business on the Scandinavian market.You will focus on finding new arenas where sustainable energy solutions can be used.You will be responsible for the assigned annual commercial targets, obtaining sales agreements and supplying wind generators to customers.Your duties will also include: - Monitor and control of the commercial targets for the assigned geographical area.Knowledge of the assigned area?s market development in the long and the short term. - Knowledge of the customers state of affairs, mainly electrical companies and promoters.- Benchmarking and market supervision. - Participation in professional trade fairs related to the wind industry. - Identifying top strategic customers and successfully building relationships. - Collaborating in the annual sales/assembly briefings towards the global budget, and participating in the launch of new products and customer monitoring. - Reporting annually, biannually, monthly and weekly to senior management.You report directly to the Commercial Area Manager.The role will be based in Sweden, and location can be dependent on where the right candidate lives.The position will also involve extensive traveling. Job Qualifications To be successful, you will have a University level Engineering Degree as well as at least five years?experience from a Technical Sales position, preferably within the wind power sector.In addition, an MBA Degree is of an advantage.As a person, you are a confident self-starter, with strong planning and organizational skills, as well as being a problem solver.It is also of importance that you are well presented, have strong social skills and the ability to build long term relationships with clients and partners.Additionally, you will need to speak Swedish and English fluently.Spanish language skills will be considered as a plus.
