Europaskolan is an independent Swedish primary and secondary school with an international heart located in the center of Stockholm. The school was founded in 1998 and has been authorized by the International Baccalaureate® (IB) to teach the PYP (Primary Years Program) and MYP (Middle Years program) since 2007. We have relatively small class sizes and we maintain high standards for our students. You enjoy the creative elements of teaching and aim to use your creativity to inspire others. The visual arts teacher at Europaskolan should be able to perform the following duties:

Create inspiring and well-scaffolded visual arts units of study for students of various ages and abilities.
Create an inspiring and well-structured learning environment in which the teacher is the clear leader of the classroom and where the students can thrive.
Create assessment tasks that are relevant for students and which are based on clearly established success criteria.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and create inspiring interdisciplinary learning activities for students.
Showcase the students' artwork throughout the school.
Take a lead role in the Celebration of Learning day where student work is showcased for the greater school community.
Be an engaged mentor for 16 students and collaborate with the other mentors of the same grade level to help build classes into communities.
Be able to teach in English.
Balance the IB and Swedish national curricula with guidance from management and fellow teachers.
