UCG/ Radio Support is a consulting company specialized in support to the telecom and electronics industry.Mostly in the design/verification and test/industrializing areas.We have an office at Kista in northern Stockholm but are operating all over Sweden.Through UCG recruitment we also help companies with permanent staff.All our openings require at least three years work experience from the IT business. Assignment description The goal of the ASIC verification projects is to guarantee the quality of the digital ASIC design before tape-out.Tests include power management, connectivity tests and more.Most of the tests are done as software driven directed testing that are run in a HW/SW co-simulation environment.The work tasks require debugging software as well as hardware.Other tests are done in a pure HW simulation environment. A successful candidate is either an experienced hardware designer/tester and/or an experienced C programmer.The mix of hardware and software knowledge is important.Experience with test design is a merit. Competence The successful candidate has the following competence and experience: * M.Sc.degree or similar.* Good programming skills (C) * Experience of SW design for an embedded environment * Knowledge of hardware design (VHDL/Verilog) * Experience in HW verification using e.g.Specman or System Verilog * Knowledge of verification methodology To achieve a more even gender distribution among our consultants we are positive to female applicants.We would like applicants to submit a detailed CV in Word-format.In this ad we are primarily looking for employees, but we also invite persons operating their own companies to apply.We decline approaches from recruiters and other sales persons.
