JIBS is currently recruiting Full Professors and Assistant Professors in each of the following areas: Financial Accounting is the study of the preparation and use of financial reports, accounting principles, criteria and disclosure policies to external users.It deals with theoretical models as well as actual policy (national and international) in accounting standard setting, accounting legislation and securities market regulation.1 Professor, 1 Assistant Professor Management accounting is the study of processes of identifying, collecting, communicating and utilizing information in order to support decision-making, planning, control and performance evaluation in various organisational settings.1 Professor, 1 Assistant Professor Corporate finance is the study of a wide array of finance issues - all looked at from a corporate perspective.Important topics are capital budgeting and corporate funding, investment processes, management of assets and of risks (like credit risks and exposure risks) and new venture capital financing.1 Professor, Assistant Professor already appointed Qualifications The applicants for all posts must have a Ph.D.degree in Business Administration (or equivalent) with a relevant profile.Applicants to the positions as Full Professor must also demonstrate considerable research and teaching abilities and experience.Administrative and professional experience is of merit as well as shown interest in entrepreneurial matters.Professional command of the English language is a requirement.The successful applicant must demonstrate willingness and ability to contribute to JIBS's environment and is expected to contribute to research and teaching development of the concerned department.Special attention will be paid to documented merits concerning .Familiarity with and contribution to contemporary research .Capability in managing development and research projects .Experience from doctoral education, especially tutoring doctoral students .Experience from international projects .Ability to contribute to the business world and obtain external funding .Teaching Tasks All positions are expected to contribute to JIBS entrepreneurial and business renewal focus.The positions include research, supervision of doctoral students and teaching both at introductory and advanced levels.The full professors have a special responsibility in doctoral education programmes and research in Business Administration.It is required that the professors establish and manage contacts with national and international researchers within their relative field and actively apply for external funding.Further information about JIBS can be found on our website www.jibs.se.Applications should include a cover letter, a CV and 3 copies of all scientific contributions (in full text) and the teaching and other credentials you want to refer to should be sent by 10 November to: Jönköping International Business School, Att.Registrar, P.O.Box 1026, SE-551 11 Jönköping, SWEDEN Please indicate reference number 06/51-729 on your application.
