Assistant Controller

Verksamhetsbeskrivning: Akzo Nobel Functional Chemicals AB, Cellulosic Specialties, headquarted in Stenungsund Sweden, is responsible for the development, production and marketing of water-soluble cellulose derivatives. Our products Akucell, Bermocoll, Bermodol, Depramin, Peridur, Staflo, Gabroil, and Ganrosa are sold to a wide range of application; mainly building, food & healthcare, mining, oilfield, and paint. Research and development are pursued in Stenungsund and Arnhem, the Netherlands. Sales and Technical service centers are situated in Stenungsund, Arnhem/Amersfoort, Singapore, and Brewster, NY, USA. The production sites are locaded in Arnhem, Novara, Italy, and Örnsköldsvik, Sweden.

Arbetsuppgifter: Cellulosic Specialties is an interesting unit to work for. Following recent strategy updates, it is expected that we will be facing challenging growth scenarios in the global market place in the years to come. The position of assistant controller to the sBU is a full-time job, located in Stenungsund, Sweden. The assistant controller will be involved in a wide variety of tasks and projects.
Mane areas of responsibility:
* Support the sBU with management information in line with the defined strategy and priorities.
* Financial planning and follow-up analysis.
* Contribute to the development of the controlling function in the sBU.
* Participate in various project and task forces.

Utbildning/Erfarenhet: We belive the following qualifications and skills are required:
* University degree in Finance, Business, or Economics.
* Ability to communicate with all levels in the organization.
* Very good oral & written English language, internationally orianted.
* A few years of relevant experience is prederred.
