Job description
In the Assistant Divisional Controller position, you will have the opportunity to work in an international context where the scope of the position will be adapted to your own skills and ambition over time.

Your main responsibility is to support the division within the area of business controlling. You will build and maintain a professional, international network including product companies, R&D centers, application centers, divisional management, and customer centers and also participate in various projects in the units.

Every month you will take an active part in the closing of the divisional books and analyzing the results. Additionally, you will generate results-based reports and analyses for scheduled meetings such as board meetings as well as on an ad hoc basis. You will also support companies and business controllers around the world in financial matters including the regions for which you are responsible

You will work broadly and be part of a variety of activities, including but not limited to:

Pro-actively taking part in month-end reporting, consolidation, and follow-up of the divisions
Pro-actively making performance and ad hoc analyses at different levels of the division
Providing support to our local customer centers and product companies worldwide in the area of financial reporting
Supporting and enabling best practice sharing between entities and functions
Becoming a power user of SAP Business Objects, Power BI and other business intelligence systems that support the division and the business areas
Actively driving digitalization projects within the division and participating in business area projects




The position reports to the VP Business Control in the GI Division, Fredrik Storm.

Skills, knowledge, and experience
A successful candidate has a university degree in Business Administration. Relevant work experience is a merit. Excellent English skills (written and spoken) as well as fluency in Swedish are required. You possess strong analytical capabilities and understand the importance of quality and accuracy. You have good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You are proficient in Excel. Experience from ERP systems, Business Intelligence systems and PowerBI are an advantage. In general, you are comfortable working in various IT systems.

You have the ability to interact at various organizational levels. There will be periods with a high workload so time management and dealing with stress are important skills.
