Associate General Counsel

Nasdaq is now looking for an Associate General Counsel to join our team in Stockholm. This is an extraordinary opportunity to work with legal and regulatory questions around derivatives, clearing and capital markets at one of the leading provider of exchange and trading technology.

As an Associate General Counsel you will be a part of a team that supports Fixed Income and Post-trade businesses within the Nordic/Baltic regions. Your main tasks will be monitoring new regulations within derivatives and clearing, and the overall legal development. Furthermore, you will be a business support to the clearing function. You will be joining a team of ten people located throughout the Nordic and Baltic regions.

Key Responsibilities

* Monitor new regulations within derivatives, clearing and the overall legal development.
* Act as a business support to Nasdaq's clearing function.
* Provide guidance to internal company clients with respect to applicable legal requirements and company policies that are overseen by the legal group.
* Draft and review complex commercial agreements and regulations.

Education, Professional Accomplishments, and Certifications

* A LL.M. (Master of Laws)
* Minimum 4 years of working experience.
* Merit if you have experience from financial regulations, derivatives agreements and stock market law.
* Merit if you have been working with the clearing business from a customer perspective.

Competencies, Skills, and Experience

* Demonstrates subject matter expertise in current laws, controls and regulatory requirements framework and structure.
* Experience from working with Swedish company law.
* Excellent English and either Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish or Danish language skills.
