The section Perceived Quality (PQ) contains the sub-attributes Geometry & Appearance, Material Quality, Illumination and Surface Finish & Paint. We are responsible for leading and developing the complete vehicle within the Perceived Quality area and we have a strong focus on customer needs. The challenge consists of developing, defining and communicating requirements that reflects expectations and needs of our current and future customers. We act in all phases of the product development process, concept development, industrialisation and current model quality and we work in a cross-functional environment.

As Attribute Leader you will secure the attribute development and deliveries in one or more car program, with focus on, but not limited to Material Quality. Included in the position is also to support designers and engineers to create solutions that fulfil our customer-driven requirements. As a base for the requirement setting you will secure relevant benchmark data of other brands products and customer input. In this role you will also support the annual development of our attributes outside of car programs. Further you will interact with both Designers, Engineering units as well as Manufacturing engineers.
You are going to be part of a strong team that consists of both Attribute Leaders and Analysis Engineers and Visualisation experts from our Digital analysis and visualisation team that together secure our deliveries. As an introduction you will start to work with verification of new car models.

Main responsibilities

* Lead and develop the attribute area within one or more car programs.
* Specify the attribute level with regard to the desired degree of customer satisfaction and competitiveness
* Develop and document prerequisites regarding customer environment as a basis for attribute analysis, including taking part of customer research, legal requirements information, clinics
* Participate in competitive analysis as basis for attribute requirements
* Participate in development of technical solutions and method development
* Communicate the attribute situation to the PQ overall attribute leader and/or to program- and line management
* Verify that selected system solutions together have the ability to meet attribute requirement target levels at complete vehicle level
* Analysis of project material regarding appearance in physical verification phase
* Specify the attribute level (measurable requirements on Complete Vehicle level or System level) with regard to the desired degree of customer satisfaction and competitiveness (Focus on material status regarding content and harmony incl grain, colour and gloss but not limited to)

Required qualifications

* M.Sc degree in Engineering or similar work experience
* Experience in Project management
* B- driving license
* Good vehicle knowledge
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* Good knowledge in Material Science and Colour Physics is meritorious
* Knowledge within tooling and die construction is meritorious

* Great communication- and argumentation skills
* A true self starter and a character of initiatives
* Good analytical skills
* Naturally and actively participate in the team´s common matters and show sense for deliveries
* Capacity to lead a team
