Au Pair-Extraordinaire/Rhode Island

Our family is fairly new.Sean and I were married in March of 2003 and our daughter Brenda was born one year later.I was born in the Middle East and moved to Omaha Nebraska when I was 11 years old.I lived there until I was 22 years old.I've travelled extensively and lived all over the US - Maryland, California, Rhode Island and I have also lived abroad in my adult life - in Guatemala and Puerto Rico and have loved the experience. My husband -Sean is from Newark, New Jersey and he's lived pretty much on the East Coast all his life - from New Jersey to New York to Virginia, Massachusetts and now Rhode Island.Sean has worked for Vidal Sassoon for 9 years and he manages the Boston salon.We actually met there - I sat in his chair and the rest was history - we've been together ever since my first hair cut! Brenda is now nearly 7 months old.She sleeps 11 hours a night and gets three naps during the day.She is a routine girl.Sean takes her up in the morning and I nurse her before going to work and then she usually falls back asleep for another 1-1 hours.She then is fully awake and ready for her day.She usually plays for 20-30 minutes and by 10 in the morning she's ready for cereal and her bottle.She then can play for a little longer and then is ready for a nap - she currently likes to go down for a nap about every 2-3 hours, but then she naps for 45 minutes. We have dinner and then Brenda gets her bath and is ready for bed- she usually is asleep between 8 - 8:30 pm every night.She's a very good baby - and she is used to having a lot of one on one playtime.My work schedule's Monday - Friday, while Sean's a schedule is Tuesday-Saturday - so we only have Sunday together as a family day and that is very important to us to spend it together.Saturdays are usually spent with friends or running errands and Mondays are spent with daddy and Brenda. The qualities that we are looking for in an au pair - is someone who is very family oriented and friendly.We want a person who loves babies and who has a lot of patience and loves to see the influence/impression it will leave forever in the hearts of a family.We want an au pair who is curious to learn and also one who wants to teach and isn't afraid to explore the city/suburbs with a baby.Tillträde: Hösten -09 Ålder: 18 - 26 år.
